‘ESTATE VINEYARD’ RIESLING
From 2009 to 2019, our three acres of dry-farmed Riesling were harvested by hand in pursuit of producing a single bottling of age-worthy Riesling that captures the vintage’s personality, while showcasing the terroir of the ‘Alexana Estate Vineyard’. Planted on a south-facing slope, Alexana’s Estate Riesling is tucked behind a row of old oaks that provide afternoon shading and extended hangtime. Small-lot, native fermentations are enhanced by a hint of texture from a small amount of lees contact and barrel fermentation.

‘LATE HARVEST’ RIESLING
Lonesome Spring Ranch in Washington’s Yakima Valley offers a distinct high-desert terroir, allowing Riesling grapes to reach ideal ripeness. Hand-harvested berries are gently pressed overnight, yielding a small amount of sweet juice that slowly ferments into a concentrated, vibrant wine, perfect for savoring at the end of a meal.

‘HILLSIDES’ PINOT GRIS
This rare, old-vine, hillside expression of Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley brings three tiny plots together to create a stunningly complex and delicious wine. Each vineyard block is whole cluster pressed and fermented in small batches before aging sur lie in different vessels which brings layers of texture and complexity into balance with this unique representation of ‘Willamette Valley’ Pinot Gris.

‘Signature’ represents a selection of the highest quality Chardonnay barrels from our cellar. Chosen for their extraordinary texture and concentration, each barrel blends seamlessly together to create our most elegant expression of Chardonnay. Double hand sorted and whole cluster pressed, this Chardonnay ferments and ages in oak barrels for up to 16 months. The Willamette Valley has become one of the new world’s most sought-after regions to grow and craft the noble Chardonnay grape.

‘SHEA VINEYARD’ PINOT NOIR

Planted in 1989, the Shea Vineyard has long been considered a Grand Cru equivalent in the Willamette Valley, and has been the source of many of Oregon’s most iconic bottles of Pinot Noir. This highly regarded vineyard sits on sedimentary soil over fractured sandstone in the steeply contoured hills just east of Yamhill. Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir is renowned for its focused flavors of dark fruit and spice supported by firm structure and velvety texture.

This single-clone bottling highlights the beauty and complexity of the Willamette Valley’s most widely planted clone of Pinot Noir – Pommard! Sourced from Blocks 7, 13, 18, 19, and 27 of our Estate Vineyard. Our Estate’s Pommard Clone vines produce small, tight clusters, with small-medium sized berries that provide beautiful color concentration. Highly regarded as a standalone clone, Pommard offers great complexity and depth of flavor with concentrated fruit, spice, and a soft, velvety texture.

This limited production Malbec is comprised of the top barrels from our 20-acre Estate located at 3,600’ elevation at the base of the majestic Andes Mountains. Each vineyard block is meticulously tended by hand and farmed using organic practices, with only a few rows being designated for our ‘Gran Reserva’ program. The clusters are hand-picked at harvest, berries are individually sorted and then fermented in small batches to maintain each block’s unique personality.

The result is an authentic expression of high-altitude Malbec that displays power and elegance in one of the rockiest terroirs in the Uco Valley. ‘BLOCK 13’ ESTATE GRENACHE

In 2008, we planted a single acre of Grenache at 3,800’ elevation on the rock-covered western edge of the Uco Valley—a unique area that would later become the Los Chacayes I.G. The rocky and sandy loam soils result in naturally lower yields, compounded by intense UV radiation and extreme temperature swings that create an expression of Grenache unlike anywhere in the world.

Classic red fruit intensity is elevated by complex floral and desert-herb aromas, unique to the Los Chacayes I.G. This 100% single-vineyard, high-elevation Grenache represents a new era of boutique wines from this exciting subregion within the Uco Valley.

‘BLOCK 22’ ESTATE SYRAH

At the base of the Andes Mountains, 3,615’ above sea level, our vineyards benefit from deep alluvial soils and an abundance of sunlight. This Syrah is made with grapes from our own vineyard in Block 22, planted with cuttings brought over from Hermitage in the Northern Rhône Valley. This block has a profile of silty, sandy soils, giving highly concentrated wines and very intense aromas.

Starting in 2017, our winemaking team selected three barrels from each of our Estate Vineyards to showcase the unique differences within our individual parcels. Each individual plot is quite varied in its soil composition due to our location in Uco Valley atop a series of alluvial fans and ancient riverbeds.

Block 6 – Stone River
Our rockiest vineyard block, Stone River was planted in 2013 around the winery on the ancient riverbank of the Arroyo Grande. It produces very low yields, resulting in powerful Malbec with high-toned red fruit which ages similarly to classified growth Bordeaux.

Block 13 – Sandlot
With primarily sandy soils, the Block 13 Sandlot is comprised of three acres of our original vines of Malbec, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cabernet Franc planted in 2008. These vines tend to produce the finest tannin structure with intense purity of fruit.

Block 22 – Limestone
In 2009, one acre of Malbec was planted in this three-acre parcel of sandy, rocky soils. This unique block produces intensely perfumed Malbec with a powerful fruit profile, supported by a tannin structure that creates immense potential for aging.

‘COLD SPRINGS VINEYARD’

Marc Mondavi’s personal vineyard, Cold Springs Vineyard was planted by Jim Barbour to capture the powerful, yet nuanced expressions of mountain terroir sitting 1,600-1,800 feet above the Napa Valley.

Located above the fog line on a southwest facing slope, grapes grown here are exposed to higher levels of UV light which results in smaller berries and concentrated flavors. These factors combine with rocky topsoil resulting in elevated stress on the vines and diminished yields. Growing conditions such as these define the Howell Mountain Appellation and produce Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with powerful tannins and exquisite complexity.

Planted in 1964 by Dick Steltzner, this meticulously farmed vineyard site is defined by a combination of marine influence from the San Francisco Bay and unique rocky soils to produce a wine of elegance and depth. The cornerstone of some of Napa Valley’s most historic wines, including the 1972 Clos du Val and Joseph Phelps Insignia, our block of the oldest vines produces a wine with incomparable complexity found only in these treasured sites.

Weitz Vineyard – Oakville AVA
Weitz Vineyard, once Weitz cattle range, sits at the top of the Oakville bench in the Vaca Mountains on the eastern side of the Oakville AVA. With neighboring vineyards Dalla Valle, Peter Michael Au Paradis, and Oakville Ranch, the knoll has established its reputation as an elite Napa Valley viticultural site. The sparse soils permit few clusters, and the red volcanic matter’s high iron content creates wines of great flavor density and freshness.

Originally planted in 1863 by H.W. Crabb on the western Oakville bench sits Napa Valley’s most iconic vineyard: Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Each year, Andy Beckstoffer allocates vineyard blocks to a small group of storied wineries, and in 2021 Revana Estate joined this illustrious group with a few rows of Cabernet Sauvignon.
