2017 Revana 'Cold Springs Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon
HOWELL MOUNTAIN AVA – NAPA VALLEY
This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Cold Springs Vineyard, perched high above the Napa Valley on Howell Mountain. An intricate mixture of iron-rich red volcanic ash, limestone, and rhyolite make up this vineyard’s topsoil, which produces Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with exquisite complexity and flavor. Heavy winter rains preceded the 2017 growing season, which replenished nutrients in vineyard soils and contributed to a healthy start to the growing season. Incredibly warm weather during the later summer months brought early ripening and a quick harvest, resulting in a wine of extraordinary concentration and richness.
Barrel-aged for 10 months in French Oak
Nose | raspberry tart, violets, and black walnut
Palate | fresh blackberries, black plum, and toasted brioche
2017 Revana 'Steltzner Vineyard' Cabernet Savignon
STAGS LEAP AVA – NAPA VALLEY
This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the oldest vines within the Steltzner Vineyard, located at the base of Napa Valley’s eastern slopes. This rugged landscape of rocky iron-rich red volcanic soils produces wines that strike a balance between elegance and power. The 2017 vintage began with heavy winter rains followed by dry summer heat, creating idyllic conditions for an exceptional crop that produced a wine with expressive dark fruit aromatics framed by elegant and silky tannins.
Barrel-aged for 20 Months in French Oak
